Seven Intro

Camera: Close ups and extreme close ups are used through out the opening credits. all the shots are short.

Titles: The opening titles look to be handwritten is freehand (not straight)and appears to be scribbled because the spacings are all out.this is iconic of a horror because it makes the viewer uneasy. also the white text against a black background is also iconic.

Editing: The editing is set at the same pace as the sound, very jumpy. there are a lot of cuts and a lot of overlapping footage, this makes the viewer uncomfortable almost as if they themselves are going slightly insane.

Mise en Scene: The scene seems to be shot in a house or office because it is dark and there seems to be only one character.there are many shots of a notebook in which a lot of text is written in the same style as the font used in the titles. there is a shot of a razor blade that connects to a shot further in, in which the characters fingers are bandaged up with blood on them. this tells the viewer that the charachter is trying to hide there identity or is depressed and elf harming this is stereotypical of horror film villain

Sound: The majority of the sound is non-digetic in the form of music. which is very jumpy and is unsettling to hear, the other sounds are a-synchronus and are out of time with the shot.
